The most useful thing it has done is show us who’s in it just to follow the trend but who don’t actually care about the message. Lots of people who’ve kept quiet and who haven’t shared any resources/educational posts/posts on how to take action and support/etc. are suddenly coming out of the woodwork to say “#blackouttuesday!” Tomorrow, they'll go back to staying out of it.
