a protestor was shot in the head with a "less lethal" round in austin last night, info is trickling out from people who were there who stated that he was non responsive and lifeless, but the official statement is that he is in critical condition. i don't trust that info

This just makes me think of that guy I saw on twitter who's picture was posted with his right eye completely fucked & bloody because cops threw a tear gas cannister right at his head/face. He responded to the tweet and said he was in the hospital, he was fine, but that he was pretty much gonna lose his eye.
