officials are trying to say that the autopsy shows no strangulation or asphyxiation happened, it was underlying health issues that caused it. my heart hurts

a sham of an autopsy tbh. All of these health issues and yet somehow someone kneeling on their neck for minutes on end is considered negligible to the cause of death?

burn down the coroner's office too

The public response (especially on twitter) is something that has to be seen to be believed. Seeing electronic musicians who never rly step in to talk about politics (in 2017 Jai Wolf and Ghastly got into it bc Ghastly's feelings got ass pained when Jai Wolf said ppl who stan trump were undeniably racist or something like that) donate and match each other's 1,000$ donations when they haven't been touring and making money for months now is amazing. Even fucking Ghastly donated 1K$ and has been vocal about things (although the way he got dragged last time probably woke something up in him too)

On that note, the minnesota bail fund said they had enough money and were trying to encourage ppl to donate to different organizations! I was going to donate to them today, but then I saw ppl in Louisville also asking for funds and relief for their protests for Breana Taylor so I donated to them too which you can do here (beneath is my donation just in case anyone on ONTD can match or needed to be inspired)

i actually haven't heard of arizona but yeah, Louisville needs funds especially since 7 protesters were shot. I saw tweets passing around that MN freedom fund was requesting things go to towards other organizations in need. They didn't have the Louisville one up, but someone else posted a link to it!

I could always make the distinction between the two, but struggled to incorporate it into my writing.

I feel like if english teachers used headlines related to sex assault cases and lynchings/genocides where people just ~die~ or ~become ~ victims, it would make so much more sense.

Mr. Floyd didn't mysteriously die. He was brutally fucking murdered.
