BBT is one of those shows I started at the very beginning and then when it got bad I forced myself to finish because I loved Bernadette and was already in a few seasons. I should've stopped earlier. Every week was a chore to watch it.

That being said, I think the hate it gets is like 1,000x more obnoxious than the show itself. It's like a badge of honor to say you hate it out loud. xD But I did vote for it here because it's definitely overrated.

honestly, the all white cast of "super smart" ppl was a major turnoff. And from clips, the sheldon guy seemed super full of himself and just awful.

the show doesnt actually come up in conversation ever, but I do have a strong opinion abt it.. I just never understood how it was so successful.

GOD, what Sophie's Choice Sherlock vs. Rick and Morty is! Both fanbases are insufferable and the sherlock fans literally terrorized the elementary ones with racism while the rick & morty fans terrorized minimum wage employees for some dumbass sauce so it's a real draw.

Also, I don’t think GOT was overrated in its early seasons. It was actually good then. Whereas HIMYM was definitely overrated it’s whole run, and I was a fan!

I just did a rewatch of Elementary and that show is SUCH a fucking gem and I'm forever bitter it got overshadowed by the inferior version.
