It didn't hook me at first but it grew on me after 4 or 5 episodes and it had me as a fan after the airlock episode

I think the entire concept is bullshit, and we shouldn't take idiotic things Trump does and turn it into TV Shows

The month between issues of EW is really fucking with their reviews... they're constantly giving 3 sentence reviews of things that they haven't watched (I'm pretty sure they had 'Space Force' on their hot list in last month's issue... just like they had I Know This Much is True on their hot list before the screeners even went out to the press)

Once my subscription runs out I'm not renewing, and I've been getting it for years. It's just total crap in a monthly format.

I am not totally hating it, because the issues were getting very thin before they switched... but my subscription was free so I guess I can't complain too hard. I just don't get any use from the reviews anymore because it's either long past release date or they're writing about things that haven't been screened yet. Some of the long form stuff has been okay (I like the random pop culture true crime things they've been writing)...

i feel like they've always done that though...they'll declare something "hot" before they've even seen it, i've always felt the mag was largely a promotional tool even though i loved it and is the only magazine i've paid money to subscribe to

I'm surprised his film career ended up mostly flopping. Though I do still have a soft spot for the first Despicable Me.
