it should beat seinfeld at least, i can see how people would find seinfeld overrated but they don’t make excuses about the main characters being assholes they way friends does
I love Rick & Morty, but some of its fans are truly obnoxious. And the fact that the show runners have to go out of their way to beat it into the fans' skulls that Rick is not to be rooted for/idolized/emulated is sad.
I also liked Stranger Things for what it is: a cute homage to '80s flicks. But it's definitely not groundbreaking or a crowning television achievement.
I think it’s one of those shows that people really love or are just lukewarm on. How anyone can be lukewarm on Moira’s fruit wine ad is beyond me, but some people just don’t love themselves.
Heroes doesn't deserve to be here tbh. The writers strike killed that show, but season 1 was great and the other season were alright (judge me, I watched every episode).
The only show I felt completely fine with voting for was True Blood. I couldn't force myself to watch the final season after they killed Tara. That was unforgivable.
I started rewatching it at the start of quarantine, and it's somehow even worse than I remembered (I think the first time around I ditched after season 5?). The books got bad towards the end, but the show was an absolute fucking dumpster fire.
I know that the show became objectively messy after season 2 but I actually still enjoyed it (for the most part). I tried so hard to watch the last season on several occasions but I never could. Not because it was bad but solely because I couldn't deal with Tara's death.
