I've never even seen Six Feet Under but I've seen the ending clip and that was immediately where my mind went.
The Sundays cover of Wild Horses in the prom episode of Buffy and the last scenes of Freaks and Geeks with Ripple are probably my faves. Oh and the end of the Season 3 finale of Sons of Anarchy with the Hey Hey My My cover.
The OC had the best soundtrack ever. I feel nostalgic just thinking about it. My favourites are “If you leave” when Seth chases Anna through the airport, “Dice” when Ryan kisses Marissa at midnight, “Honey and the Moon” and “Forever Young” when Ryan and Marissa break up over the phone.
I also love “I hear the bells” from Veronica Mars when Veronica and Logan are about to kiss but don’t, like I don’t even ship them that much but that scene when Logan talks about being epic etc. it gets me every single time.
I agree about the OC! I remember crying my eyes out as a teen during the season one ending when they started playing Hallelujah, and that show introduced me to a lot of great songs in general.
lmao i didn't read the comments before making my own but they're pretty much identical. dice still gets me every time, it's also just a beautiful song in its own right too

In terms of Buffy music moments, I always loved the Sarah McLachlan song in the S2 finale.
