Unpopular opinion (sort of), but I never liked Santino's Greg and didn't care much when he left

i actually outright hated him. i stopped watching when he came back, i just dont vibe with greg as a character at all

Also this isn't like the point of this post but he's mentioned on the list so I'm just gonna rant a little and say that it's complete bullshit that Robin Hood died in OUAT so that Regina could be miserable again for who knows how many seasons and they were like "oh yeah this death is SUUUUUPER permanent" when Rumple's fucking stupid ass got revived every five minutes and I had to sit through Emma and Hook be intolerable around each other for five years.

Finally they add a relationship I actually can stand and end up killing the guy.

That being said, I did not remember Tom Ellis being the first dude to play Robin.

As a lover of soaps, there are too many to list. But GH's recasts for both Lucky and Emily were... not good. It's like they didn't even try and find actors who could fit the character, and instead just grabbed whoever was available and rewrote accordingly.

Oooh I was a HUGE GH fan as a young teen, back when they put Liz and Lucky together for the first time, and I was DEVASTATED when I heard they were going to recast Lucky. I actually think Jacob Young did an okay job as new!Lucky, though lbr, no one was ever going to be able to fill Jonathan Jackson's shoes. But the third guy they had playing Lucky (Greg...something or other? I'm too lazy to look it up) was truly awful. Just boring and void of charisma. I actually thought Nathan Parsons had a more *Lucky* vibe years later, when they brought him on to play Luke's secret son Ethan, then the actual guy playing Lucky at the time (okay I caved and googled, and it was Greg Vaughan, he was the awful one). The worst part to me was that my beloved Lucky/Liz ship never recovered after Jonathan left the show, even when he came back to reprise the role years later.

Yessssss @ everything you said. I thought Greg Vaughn was a terrible choice for Lucky. He didn't have the street smarts and I guess... worldliness that the character needed. GV just sort of played him like a big golden retriever. I agree that Nathan would have been a much better fit for Lucky.

And don't even get me started on what the writers did to LL2. Like, they finally got JJ back after a decade only to have Elizabeth cheat on him with his own brother. And then he married that Irish girl and I don't even remember what else because I had to stop watching due to my disappointment. When the show finally ends someday, I hope they can get Jonathan back one last time so that Lucky and Liz can ride off into the sunset together.

RAGE. Reading this makes me rage like it's happening all over again. I remember reading an interview with JJ after he left a second time, and the interviewer asked why he didn't stick around for long, and he basically said he didn't come back to the show to spend months crying by the graveside of his dead Irish wife (whose name I give no fucks about).
