A Baltimore County teen has died after being infected with the coronavirus, officials said Tuesday. https://t.co/bWKinUVESp - The Baltimore Sun (@baltimoresun) May 19, 2020
This is really sad, and I'm worried for other kids since MIS-C apparently follows the infection by 3-6 weeks, and can show up in kids who were asymptomatic, so parents might not be looking for it. It's rare and it's treatable, so it's not like we need to panic, but we still need to inform people about it in a non-panicky way. And generally be cautious since we don't know the longterm effects of covid-19.
