I miss hockey a lot. It would be the thick of the playoffs right now. My faves are in the final few years of their careers so it's a bummer to see them losing time. And I miss baseball! I was excited about my slightly new-look team this season. Who knows what sports will look like moving forward; all these hub city ideas seem unrealistic.

(Obviously there are much more important things happening in the world.)

I miss baseball, but the MLB's plan is kinda bs and will 100% let an infection spread (which will inevitably happen since they can't quarantine the players.) Also, ownership pleading poverty and trying to back out of the agreement for pro-rated salaries is BS. They're now offering revenue sharing, and citing billions of dollars in losses, but they're being dishonest about their revenue (like, the Cubs claimed 70% of their revenue comes from gameday, which lol, give me a fucking break, and leaving tv revenue out of their calculations) and not being clear about whether they would be operating in the red, or just making less profit. And they're simultaneously playing up the "they get paid millions to play a kids' game!" and the "mom, baseball, and apple pie" angle, saying playing baseball would lift America's spirits during this trying time. Players are simultaneously frivolous and fundamental to the country's psyche. Ownership is full of shit and I have zero belief in their ability to protect the players or essential staff if it means

I miss Liverpool. May 9 was supposed to be a great day. Instead with no football to consume I've reverted back to kpop, which is a special kind of hellscape I thought I'd escaped.

Fuck people who want to void the season tbh, if lockdown has to go on for more than a year I don't see why postponing the restart for as long as possible isn't a better option than straight up null and voiding everything. If the restart happens spring of next year, that will still be a truncated season. Just admit you don't want Liverpool to win the league and go.

ugh, i really thought i was finally out. at least i'm only looking at groups i've already cared about and not getting into any new ones.

I wanted a new group to stan because right now 2pm won't have a comeback until next year because two of them are still in the army, and then my brain decided to get into EXO, a group that won't have a comeback until like, five years later because they're all starting to go to the army now lol. At least I have a lot of things to catch up on and most of the terrible things that happened have already happened so I don't have to go through it in real time lol.

I've been re-watching old 2PM things too and missing them even more ;~~;

Lmao, I got into EXO last October and honestly I still have to catch up but yeah it is a bit annoying having to wait and have that little content , I'm still mad about the lack of repackage 😭😭

But maybe the wait won't be that long? Afaik Baekhyun, Chen and Chanyeol have to enlist this year and it's not like Kai and Sehun are doing much lol , so I hope they enlist this year too, good thing is I love SHINee too and they are coming back this year so 🤩🤩

And talking about football I really like Liverpool (even if its Twitter fans are annoying and a mess) so I thought they were going to get the trophy because lbr, ManCity will never catch up and they deserve it more than anyone.

I miss sports in general. Bundesliga resumed, but it's just not the same without the fans in the stadium.
However, one my favourite bands stream NHL 20 twice a week that helps curve the yearning for sports.
