So the BA recipe works well for you?? Trying to figure out what I did wrong, bc mine was soggy. :/ Maybe too much banana, or my oven temp is off.

The banana bread recipe I use is from America’s Test Kitchen, and they suggested microwaving they VERY brown bananas first to get the juice out and boiling it down into a syrup before adding it back to the bananas. Think it helps with sogginess.

I hate it when people add peanut butter or chocolate chips, or the worst: peanut butter chocolate chips, to baked goods. They take over the flavor of everything else

i made BA's blackout banana bread (https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/blackout-chocolate-banana-bread) on sunday cause my student worker said it just tastes like chocolate cake and not banana bread and i don't like banana bread and ... it does not, sir! it's very banana-y.

i want to make some pound cakes once i finish off the banana bread.
