i'm going to watch the entire thing because i've loved meritt since nurse jackie and domhnall since about time, but this show is just not connecting with me. the chemistry is there but the writing isn't.

I gave up on this show after 2 eps. That observation is glaringly true.

that comment is spot on! it tries way too hard to be quirky and clever but its not over the top enough to get away with it or funny enough to make you forgive it.

I watched the first episode and then started a rewatch of Nurse Jackie instead to get my Merritt fix. I haven’t watched it since it was on TV and I’d forgotten how really good it is.

I'm enjoying this show, but I do wish the writing was better, especially for Ruby. I like Merritt Weaver as an actress, but even she can't sell some of the shit her character is doing - [Spoiler (click to open)]telling a stranger about a huge bag of money?!?! why?!?!
