It’s tropy and Mindy’s main characters are always a little too mean (which is not as quirky and charming as she seems to think it is), but I enjoyed it and the actors were all really good. S2 looks like it’s just gonna be Awkward 2.0 though.

I think Devi's supposed to be (and is) likeable, but she's also a hothead; I wouldn't call her especially quirky.

I tried to watch this but I got to the end of the first episode and could tell exactly where it was going with the story and characters and just couldn’t be bothered watching it anymore. Maybe I’m getting to old for teen dramas.

I am loving this show so much. I finally see myself on screen. Wish I had this when I was 15. The lead is doing really well for her first role ever

Devi was annoying AF but I found the show overall really cute/funny. It was a fun watch and I was really glad for some comedy with heart during this time.
