stabler's anger issues and propensity for assaulting suspects is one of the things that's aged the most poorly about svu. it was never great to begin with, but it really sticks out on rewatches.

worst thing about svu are all the prison rape jokes/threats.

i’ve watched so much fucking svu since lockdown started. there’s something just so palatable and comforting about it.

It is a CRIME that original L&O isn't readily available to stream. I like SVU fine but later seasons got too preachy and too much about their personal lives. Original flavor kept things procedural all the way through.

i listened to the actual podcast and warren said him being in the premiere is up in the air now because of production being pushed back. their plan for the finale was to tie in some drama with stabler's son but there's no telling if chris will be filming his show when svu goes back into production now. and since blacklist has the other stages next to svu, there not sure where chris will be shooting so no telling if crossovers will be very easy either.

i could be remembering wrong but it did feel like he didn't want to make a promise because everything is so up in the air on when it's going to start up again so they don't know if chris will be filming at the same time. but it was definitely their intention to have his family in the finale so that sucks that we missed out.
