ugh honestly I didn't really like this video and they kinda just seems to ignore the reasons why women settle down like low self esteem, the pressure of being in a relationship and the fact that in most of these shows the women settle down because they got pregnant (that could also be a real reason why women settle down irl) also these tv shows and created by men so ofc the wife have to be super hot and perfect while the man can be below average..

idk I just wish they did a better job because this video was kinda bad.

this video was not good. i hate this 'opposites' is actually 'compliments' and that means chemistry, more like it's a fucking trauma bond ffs. women consistently told if they're single there's something fundamentally wrong with them or that they're unlovable so should be grateful with whatever they get.

i do know women who have settled or who married their first boyfriend. they're unhappy but won't leave because they don't want to be seen as failing at marriage or they really do not know how to be single or they don't know that can and should have better.

and tbh what makes me mad is that they are open about their misery to me but then pity me or condescend to me in public about how sad it is that i'm perpetually single, sorry i'm busy living a better life than yours
