DarlingssSS! As many of us know, Heidi and Tim have  a new show called "Making the Cut", now fully available on Amazon Prime.

I try not to support amazon in any way. I like designer shows though, and always in awe with what people can create within the boundaries of clothing.

Right now I'm experimenting a bit more with outfits because so few people see me anyway. The only thing missing is tights in another colour than black, but if spring keeps moving like this I won't need them anyway.

I try to refrain from putting my velvet sweat pants on more than thrice a week.

I know this show has so much more money and is produced better than Project Runway, but I prefer Project Runway. I think Christian Siriano is such a better mentor than Tim Gunn.

Yeah I think the show is overall better than project runway but they definitely heavily rely on the charms of heidi and tim nostalgia while Christian gives them more practical advice

I watched the first two episodes. I’m not entirely sure how it’s fair to judge on quality when they’re not the ones doing the sewing (and can’t even talk to their seamstresses???) but it’s good mindless television.

If they're not sewing and admit they can't sew, then fuck them. Sew the damn clothes if you want to be into fashion.

they were citing that in the 'real fashion world' how this is closer to the way clothing is made. They still design everything from patterns to detailing but the sewing, with one exception during a challenge where Tim wanted to fire them up and have a flash elimination, is done by others
