What year was he supposed to direct it? There’s so many Batman remakes I can’t even keep up lol.

Too bad it didn’t work for him, but somehow it did sorta work for Joaquin - not as Batman but he’s better off as Joker anyway.

so, in basically every wannabe taxi driver rip-off movie I've seen, the director makes a movie about a tortured anti-hero that has a lot of bad/disappointing shit that happens to them or someone they care about, that ends up doing a Big Violence™ at the movie's climax. that is also the tl;dr plot of taxi driver
