I don't understand the obsession with harassing celebs about their quarantine situation. Plenty of them are being assholes but why waste energy on it. Does it make you any better if you spend your time attacking someone from behind a computer screen?

I definitely think this crisis has allowed people who have always been performatively sanctimonious to take it to new heights. I have a friend who's always had a reputation for her self-righteousness but I guess since she has nothing better to do, she's made it her entire online persona. One of our other friends in the group chat commented on how she went for a walk and started noticing more and more people wearing masks, and asked the rest of us if we'd noticed that too. The self-righteous friend went "Well, I'm actually taking the shelter in place order seriously, so I haven't been outside since then and wouldn't know." Like... cool. She's also one of those people on Facebook who appoints themselves to keep everyone else abreast of current events, and you know those types. Like none of us have news alerts on our phones or anything ( ... )

Everything about this show is annoying, including the actors and fans.

also it’s just a bad show. people kept telling me to watch so i begrudgingly worked my way through the first season but after the fourth rape scene in like six episodes i was fucking done

mte. there was more than enough rape in game of thrones; i don't need it from a supposed "romance" show.

i do feel for actors (or any entertainer, etc.) who has a rabid fan base of people that are truly delusional and harmful. it's nice that his castmates chimed in with support.

similar to jamie's harassment with 'damie' fans. like let it go, it's been years.

We have at least one of those stans. They were all over the last post.

It's always do odd to me when fans become so obsessive with the person they like that they become so overly critical and hateful that it consumes their entire being. Like, i get being obsessed to a certain degree but hating some random actor because you like them so much is very strange.

The funny thing is that he is gay. He went to Hawaii to do a PR stunt just like he has done many times before with other beards.

His Outlander stans are very homophobic and think it's better being a man whore than gay.

Tons of threads in DL and CDAN blind items about him being gay:

I've never been able to put it in words but that's exactly it and I've seen it happen so many times. It's fucking insane. LSA especially is full of threads containing those people (but that site is a cess pool in general).

Wow Outlander fandom is Supernatural fandom levels of fucked up.

Not cute the way he bundled the covid/hawaii thing in there like taking issue with that is the same as psychotic bullying/stalking from fans obsessed with his love life.
