bummed about Ghostbusters: Afterlife, but the year wait is understandable given how many summer tentpoles have been pulled right now that will crowd the last half of the year.

Just cancel Morbius. We don’t care unless it’s Venom 2 and we don’t care unless it’s as equally bad as the first one.

I am so excited for Tom Hardy’s iconic disaster duo of Eddie Brock and Venom to return to my movie theater.

I literally came in here to whine about getting Venom 2, but I see the only comment worth making about Sony Movies has been made already.

Venom 2 is still coming October 2nd it seems. So I guess Sony will have movies in 2020.

BO #s are so low I don’t think anyone’s bothering to report on it, I wonder what’s number one?

Almost all theaters in the US are closed so... probably some Christian movie playing in a place flaunting restrictions because the owner had a vision from God that Hillary planted the coronavirus and that Mexicans are spreading it via tacos.

I actually checked boxofficemojo and they are not reporting it and had a covid19 disclaimer.

I wonder how many movie theaters will stil be around by then. I figure Regal and AMC will be but the smaller ones idk. There is a movie theater where I grew up that's been around longer than the big ones and it would be so sad if it had to close for good.

I believe Harkins (AZ, CA, CO) was paying for the initial 2 week closure but now I don’t know.

Hardline Theatres. They’re Arizona based chain with locations in NV, CO, and SoCal. They are paying their staff https://www.harkins.com/letter

The one independent theatre owner, Mark O’Meara who is selling popcorn via curbside to pay his staff
