And even if it was only effecting old people, if they overcrowd the hospitals young people can't get in for other reasons like accidents, illness, cancer, overdoses, suicide attempts, shootings and a million other things. My cousin is in the hospital right now after a bad car accident. I can't imagine her not having a bed.

A coworker's husband died of COVID-19 this morning. Her test results are still pending and she's been self-isolating since he went into the hospital, so she's been all by herself. Her mom just died last month - I feel so terrible for her. People who aren't taking this seriously are the fucking worst.
