i think everyone was caught so off-guard with how good and revelatory he was in 'inglorious basterds' there was the impression of a great, versatile actor
when in fact he's a one-note villain over and over again and it's just variations and shadows of the character he played in that. django was maybe an exception but not by so much
He’s actually a good actor. Hollywood just doesn’t what to do with him because of the heavy accent - so he ends up being the heavily accented villian in a lot of movies.
Also I kept seeing Quibi ads while watching Tin Man thru IMDB and thought it was a fake thing for something else they were advertising. I wasnt paying attention but apparently it's real.
