On March 19, 2020, The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) which represents the worldwide recorded music industry has released the top 10 best selling albums worldwide. I'm surprised to see them on this list but also I get it? For their European tour this summer all dates sold out within a few days AFAIK (I have tickets to one of them, probably will be moved to 2021...), all big arenas/stadiums. In Nijmegen and Oostende, 100,000 tickets sold out within an hour... and they just did a concert in Rotterdam last year (it was also impossible to get tickets for that one)

Also this album was their first in 10 years or so. Personally, as a big fan, I don't think it's the same quality as their best work, but I still like a lot of songs

those numbers of BTS seem to be half their actual ones...why?

Apparently they count EPs as half of an actual album, is why.
