JC said he wrote this song because he's a freak. 😂

After listening to all the interviews I'm more hopeful that a reunion might happen, and dare I say I think JC is the holdout. Justin would have to do some convincing. And why do Justin and JC never document their time together for us seeing as they just saw each other recently. Drives me nuts. If you're not going to be together at least give us pics when you are together.

Same. JC is totally the holdout.

However, if someone could convince Justin I think he could convince JC. I think he's the only one who can. Just like with Coachella.

I didn’t expect how genuinely into it Justin sounded. Like, I never thought he’d make it obvious he was a holdout even if he was one, but I expected him to be more kind of PR friendly non-committal

Whereas JC... I knew from other stuff he said a few years ago he wasn’t that here for it but damn, he really surprised me. I didn’t realise it was that strong a no

I can’t believe it’s been 20 years. 2000 was a fun year, pop culture wise.

jc's answer about what song to cover seems so pretentious. "less pop"??? without giving a specific example he seems like a poser. no hate tho he's v talented I'm just surprised. I'll have to actually listen to the interview but it seems like he wasn't that here for this...

He was. He's just very very jaded. I think the Schizophrenic album really fucked him up. He even talks about not liking songs from the album!

tbh I used to feel this way but I feel like the older I get the more I feel like pop is lame and is the most generic form of music and the least innovative so I kinda get where JC is coming from.

He always liked pop so I don't think it's a hate for pop, he still writes pop songs(for other people). Seems to me he'd just prefer if they did a cover, to do something "less pop", which is actually how they usually did their covers, they often chose "less pop" songs to cover.
