The last episode had a bombshell: Ikea still exists in 2399. Soji had the posable figure and hand in her quarters. I laughed.

Anyway, the show is getting better, but it's almost over, so I don't expect a major turnaround.

Lol my husband and I were geeking out over the fact that her silver coffee mug is the exact same one we use, that we ordered off of Amazon.

I'm not worried about spoilers but I'm catching up and just started episode 5 and wtf????

Like, [Link to spoiler]between Icheb and now apparently Hugh?

Why? I'm so tired of shows I grew up with coming back and just killing off old characters for shock value.

Icheb wasnt even a fave but he was sweet and that just seemed so cruel

I'll finish it for Elnor (who's the only new character that seems interesting and ive only had him for five minutes 🙄) but it doesnt seem enjoyable atm.

Damn a lot of people die on this show. Even Riker and Troi's son? What was the point of having that character exist, just to be tragic dead backstory? So both Deanna and Lwaxana get to have a dead older child, therefore symmetry or something?

I pretty much knew That Character was as good as dead from the second it was announced he'd be on here, but then when Icheb died and the dead body in Seven's arms was him, I thought maybe I was wrong! How stupid am I!

RE: Thad

I think the point was that he could have been saved with some technology if it weren't for the synth ban. It's illustrating how this had wider ramifications than just cancelling Maddox's android research program.

They fridged him to make a point about how the ban on synths was bad. It felt kinda cheap to do that to the Troi-Rikers... I felt sad watching Deanna's grief, made me think how Sirtis lost her husband a couple of months ago.

For symmetry: Their daughter is called Kestra, like Deanna's sister!

This is Troi's second child to die though. Remember Ian? The ball of energy that impregnated her?

It's canon that borg nano probes can resurect the dead so I'm just going to assume Hugh ain't dead dead. I refuse to live in a dimension where a creepy game of thrones reject kills off Hugh. Anyway excited for Seven returning next week. Riker and Troi were great this week and their daughter was great too. The La Sirena bits were okay. I like the characters but I'm not really invested in them.
