IDK why, but haven't been feeling an interest watching movies or tv shows lately. I can't really focus. Maybe after a hard award season with watching a lot of movies I kinda need a break?

I definitely feel that way. I just really haven’t had the energy to watch anything new this past week particularly given the current state of American politics and I’ve just been rewatching the same movie (Portrait of a Lady on Fire lol) over and over again.

I saw Bacurau at AFI Fest back in November at the recommendation of another user here, and I really liked it! It's definitely offbeat, but it's really engaging and unlike anything I'd seen before. If you didn't already watch the trailer, I'd recommend going in blind, if possible.

A lot of stuff sounds promising this week. I know The Burnt Orange Heresy got meh reviews, but I love Elizabeth Debicki, and First Cow's gotten a lot of really good reviews. And Extra Ordinary doesn't really seem like it would be for me, but I love Claudia O'Doherty, so I may give it a watch anyway.

Tonight, we're going to a Q&A screening of Never Rarely Sometimes Always, which just won the Silver Bear at Berlinale. Ngl, it sounds depressing AF, but I am looking forward to it.
