It feels like it’s been going on much longer than it has already been

I wonder if it's going to hurt any politicians that it's damn near become nonstop election cycle. it started 2 years ago. I was used to one year before, but not 2.

though with this presidency, it kind feels at times like the election cycle never went away.

Proving it’s more important to stop Bernie than stop Trump

Well they’re all rich. They don’t give a shit about the middle class and hate the poor.

Posting about votes against sanctions- Bruh, let me tell you something about sanctions that we have to study pretty heavily in Political Science classes.... they’re most effective when they’re multi-lateral through the UN. Sanctions put in place by just the U.S. normally end up being detrimental to the people you’re trying to help. Why? Because like America, the rich and well connected will always have easy access to that which the peasants do not.

I’m really not a fan of the red baiting.

Not to mention they usually play into anti-American sentiment. Russians aren't going to blame Putin for actions the American government willingly partakes in and have no reason to trust it.

sancions are harmful, period. it's detrimental to the lives of civilians and they're the nost affected by it. that's why it must always be opposed.

if anything, the continued blockade and US sanctions on Cuba can be considered genocide under the Geneva Conventions because it is designed to specifically harm the lives of Cubans

Totally. I personally agree 100% and think that removing most of our sanctions would be super helpful to earning other governments trust and stopping anti-American sentiment... I’m just trying to give a view of what is learned in U.S. academia whilst these dumbass blue checkbox people parade around votes against them like it’s a bad thing

Kathy Griffin's tweet is so odd, like I know people always say that about Bernie supporters, but to word it like that basically advocates not voting for Bernie because of the notion that he might get MORE votes as the nominee

and I am ofc of the opinion that people should vote for the candidate that best aligns with your views rather than perceived electability, but she obviously isn't, given that she's talking about voters and not policies

not that I care about her at all though lmao
