My brother and I used to throw all night parties when my parents went away. But we were band geeks and gifties so there was no drugs or alcohol, just dancing to Spice Girls. Then we'd go at 4am to a local bakery and get the first donuts of the day.

Nothing was ever that fun and carefree again.

As a 14 year old teen, my friends and I stayed up all night (watching The Kids in the Hall) and at 4am- we walked to a local park to play on the swings/slides/etc. There was nothing but pure teenage goofiness involved (no drugs/booze).

Someone called the cops on us. LMAO. One friend was the Chief's daughter. It was his house that was close to the park.

I miss being high on teenage joy and lack of sleep. :(

My brother and I once tried to have a small get together of like 10 people and it somehow turned into a 250 person party. We only knew the count because a friend of ours started charging at the door, lmao.

Anyway, the neighbors called the cops, they confiscated the money, and our parents did the whole "we're not angry, we're extremely disappointed" speech that REALLY hurts when you're an immigrant. Never again!

They took the money?! That’s bs!

Yeah why would they take the money? Who even told them there was money involved? Deny, deny, deny!

Lol, well, it was illegal to charge entry, esp for an underage party. I'm sure they enjoyed their free donuts for the next few weeks.

The whole segment is funny, Oliver is (still) hot and does ~Ethel Merman throughout

Anyway here's the clip queued to start at the story

Jose Hernandez (baseball) player passed out drunk asleep in their mom's rug outside, yikes lol, I remember when their house parties made the trade papers

I feel like Michael Keaton would be good at a party. Out of all the Batmans I'd want him to be there.

10000%. You know the worst would be Bale.

Nah Bale has the sarcastic, blunt humour that's so British, I'd probably end up with him in a corner venting about random philosophical things and getting gossip on all the shits in Hollywood.
