Fuck this holiday tbh. I hate it. I worked yesterday and today at Walgreen's, and it was horrible. It was literally so busy. It felt like Christmas all over again. Why do people shop last minute??? I feel like there's less thought in it that way. I hate that. We couldn't even close the store on time both days. People were still buying gifts until last 8pm tonight too.

Somehow, every year I end up at a grocery store on Valentine's Day and I just end up extra pissed off. The place is packed with people who are buying cheap, waxy chocolates in heart-shaped boxes and cheap (but overpriced) stuffed teddy bears. I just want to buy my food in peace and not have to park a mile away from the door because you morons waited to buy the least romantic and thoughtful gifts.

Yea that kind of depresses me, buying someone cheap chocolate the day of shows no thought or effort, come on. I get not everyone is good at gift giving but I feel like anyone can still do better than that.
