Another award season is over, but one question remains: whose Oscars dress reigned supreme? From what I gathered while reading the comments in the red carpet post, this year didn't leave the best impression on ONTD viewers, but there were a few dresses that stood above the rest, and a few more that prompted

Brie Larson was my fave, perfection. I loved Janelle and Regina. I liked Renee although it was very simple and safe.

I'm only on pg 50 of the Oscar post, but what was the Ontd view on Jane Fonda because she recycled a dress, carried her red coat (symbolism for sustainable fashion, her last coat ever), the new bleached silver color and style. I mean damn.

The others, there were soooo many where I was like Oooh I like tha.... oh, except xyz.

I saw a bunch of comments where people were excited that Jane is rocking the silver hair! I didn't know that she'd recycled her dress or the coat thing, that's cool!

I liked Florence’s dress, apart from the belt. I mean, she’s 22. It’s a fun dress.

yeah, I woulda gone w/ different hair and shoes if I was her but the color was good on her and she's young/spunky enough to pull off the absurd number of ruffles. felt like a dress that a 2020 amy march woulda gone for.

This is the first I've seen Saoirse's dress in full and it's definitely a choice.

I'm not a fan of Janelle's dress. I don't like the skirt and how stiff it looks.

Brie looked amazing. Her body...I'm weak...

I really liked Natalie Portman, Regina King, Janelle Monae, and Brie Larson's dresses.

I disagree with the best for everyone after Brie except America. I thought she looked angelic and I didnt know she voiced Astrid for some reason??? So I love her even more.

I think everyone in the divisive category looks fine aside from Swiss Chalet tbh. I actually really like Saoirse's dress but I would change the material the purple part was made of so it's a bit more harmonious. Swiss' outfit wouldve looked nice on anyone but him since he just generally comes off as mouse-y and greasy.
