Lmfao I was a fan of Quentin but I love that this is the first comment. And for what it's worth, I do think one of the strengths of this season so far is other characters getting the spotlight for once.

Is the show better than the books? I read the first book last year but it just felt like Harry Potter for adults and not in a good way.

The characters are more likeable than in the books, for sure. S1 mostly follows the plot of book 1 and is kinda rough in general, but after that the show starts doing its own thing and gets significantly better. Imo, at least. I'd say the show is more like Buffy/Angel than Harry Potter.
