I love that the room was on his side from the get-go and that racist jerk got the rug pulled out from under him bc I’m sure he thought ppl would be on his batshit side.

Once I was at the bank and this Hispanic man in front of me spoke English perfectly fine, but told the banking associate he’d prefer to speak in Spanish/use Spanish forms when it came to his needs since it was his first language and he’d understand it better. This woman ahead of him immediately turned around once she heard them start to speak in Spanish and said with the most smug face ever “we speak English in this country” and everyone in line spoke up on the man’s behalf and told her to leave him the fuck alone and she left. It was lovely.
