F9 is an upcoming American action film directed by Justin Lin and written by Daniel Casey. A sequel to 2017's The Fate of the Furious, it will be the ninth installment in the main Fast & Furious franchise and the tenth full-length Fast & Furious film released overall

Vin was hurt that the Rock decided to venture out and star in spinoff's from the show. I guess he felt he and the rest built the franchise together and was in it for years before the Rock came in. Also The Rock/Jason's spinoff delayed this one, which really upset the other cast members. In other words, someone got feelings hurt and they both apparently had giant egos on set.

I bailed after Tokyo Drift, but I think the last one I saw was the one when The Rock first appeared.

Me too. I thought I was out because I'm less interested in the Hobbs & Shaw aspect of the franchise so I am glad there is none of that and of course completely back in for obvious reasons.

The only think I like about the Shaw involvement is what a kick it is to see Dame Helen in the franchise. Keep her, leave the Transporter.

i can't believe han's alive. i don't know how they're going to spin that one, but i'm so happy!! guess i can stop grumbling about them being on 'good terms' with shaw now because it just made no sense with him killing han..

i'm most excited to see mia again though 🥰 i really hope she gets to have her moments in this one and she's not just back for a few scenes but idk. wonder what excuse they'll make for brian not being there

lmao me too, i'm hoping this'll set her up to be a main character like dom and letty in the inevitable f10. they can just say brian had an accident being a dumb dad tripping over the kids' toys and breaking both his legs or something, but mia was NEEDED so she came back without him

Since Dom is her brother, I could see her insisting on going on helping him and Brian volunteering to stay at home with the kids, because he knows how important Dom/family is to her. I think that could work and actually be a believable scenario.
