Dark Shadows was a Gothic soap opera about the lives, loves, trials, and tribulations of the wealthy Collins family of Collinsport, Maine, where they deal with a number of supernatural occurrences, including ghosts, werewolves & a parallel dimension. The series became popular after the addition of the vampire Barnabas Collins 10 months into the series. It ran weekdays from 1966-1971 on ABC.
