this is pretty rad.

radiohead felt kind of impenetrable to me for a long time - their discography felt overwhelming, their fanbase rabid, the music didn't connect (aside from fake plastic trees) - but i still would periodically try to listen to them. it wasn't until about 3ish years ago that The Bends finally clicked, and then OK Computer. i love both albums now. i'll keep slowly working my way through the rest of their archive.

same bb. two of my best friends have been diehard mega fans for years and years, i even saw them twice at festivals and didn't feel anything beyond "oh i know a couple these songs" and i kinda liked the bends and in rainbows. then i watched their glastonbury 2017 set on tv and it just flipped my head upside down?? i got completely obsessed and worked my way thru their albums in sets of two so it wasn't so overwhelming. i recommend trying kid a and amnesiac, and the live EP 'i might be wrong' which helped me get into the more weird experimental stuff on amnesiac (the difference between the recorded and live version of like spinning plates is ridic)
