For me it’s the expression, it’s amazing how much a puppet can convey with just the expression and no doll will ever duplicate that.

It's some CGI mixed with 5 million of robot technology, but I've always been a huge sucker for cute, sad puppets. Even without special effects, the bunny in Muppets Xmas Carol makes me bawl. Later in Disneyworld, when I was 19, I bought a Bean Bunny plush because I love him SFM.
