Yes, Abby! Maybe Buck could finally get some closure if she returns. Really hope Connie is able to make a return work with her schedule!

Really looking forward to Lone Star and already love Liv Tyler's character.

LMAO even though this is a show about firefighters I still read this comment (before watching the trailer) as building a physical house...residential house and I was SO CONFUSED

I don't know about the spin-off. The original started to really click when they stopped being so super-serious and let the show be batshit and fun in the season one Halloween episode. I just don't know how that works with all the serious 9/11 focus that seems to exist on the new show. The writing will still be cheesy but serious cheese doesn't work like batshit cheese.

They said at the TCAs yesterday that 9-1-1 started out batshit then they decided to explore character and they decided to do the opposite this time around.

They can say that but the pilot and the first few episodes were clearly FOX's attempt to capture the Chicago Whatever audience and were serious. They swung for the batshit fences in that first Halloween episode and when that worked, stayed on it.

I dropped off during season 2 so maybe they've dialed back the batshit but seeing as I did see all the promos for the season premiere with the tsunami and fire bursting out of the ground I think these writers don't get just how batshit their show really is.
