Dicks, dicks as far as the eye can see!

This award season isn't even pretending to care about nominating token women anymore, is it? Little Women isn't my hill to die on - I thought it was a good movie - but there's no reason why it should be passed up for award nominations and why Greta shouldn't be included when fucking Tarantino can churn out any old unfiltered trash and get praised.

On another note, the distinct lack of Noah is making me smile!

Sam Mendes has one of those most meh filmographies yet he's seemingly about to be a 2 time Best Director winner.... it's just gross.

BAFTAs hasn't lined up with the Oscars 5/5 in like 2 decades and DGA hasn't in a decade... LETS GO GRETA!

lol of course they're comfortable with sticking women in debut film. That's always where they are nommed/win but they don't like graduating them to the main category.

So Phillips/Baumbach/Gerwig/Waititi duking it out for the 5th spot yes? Bong/Scorsese/Tarantino/Mendes seem like locks now.
