this is the most affected of all the Fox projects when the merger happened though

at least the Mouse Guard film was only in development, not already filmed. this was filmed and shelved

I heard they DID do reshoots and what's happened is they threw the reshoots away and stuck with the original film.

I don't mind if it's a bit cheap looking as long as they have a good story. The trailer looks cohesive - maybe it'll be halfway decent.

I thought it looked great. Tense and scary. And I'm curious to see if they actually go there with Rayne and Dani. I know that they've said that Josh Boone has made Rayne bisexual--adding that to the issues with her backstory with her father, but how much we'll actually see in the film, I wonder. We did see a few shots with those two in the trailer that were definitely the most "coupl-y" of any pair.

I also know that all test screenings (as in ALL--going back to pre-reshoot ones as well as the post-reshoot ones) have been positive about the film, so I'm looking forward to seeing it.
