I don't know much about Emma Watson, but in the UK upper class is usually titled, not just the money you have (as in the US). You can be broke and be titled and still be upper class, and you can be rich and not titled and never be considered upper class, unless that's changed.

Many UK celebs are clueless on this, or were. Hiddleston complained about being treated poorly because he went to Eton in 2012 as well and he's still pretty defensive, or least he was in 2016.

But IMO no one beats Dominic West, who said going to Eton was like being labeled a 'pedophile.' Helen Bonham Carter I think said something ridiculous once, too, but I can't remember what it was.
