Many UK celebs are clueless on this, or were. Hiddleston complained about being treated poorly because he went to Eton in 2012 as well and he's still pretty defensive, or least he was in 2016.
But IMO no one beats Dominic West, who said going to Eton was like being labeled a 'pedophile.' Helen Bonham Carter I think said something ridiculous once, too, but I can't remember what it was.

Going to the same school as David Cameron and Princes William and Harry was a “stigma”, 42-year-old West said on tonight’s Graham Norton Show. “It is a label that sticks with you,” he says.
“Old Etonian is a stigma that is slightly above 'paedophile’ in the media in a gallery of infamy.”
I also didn't know he lived in my country for a while, wtf.
West grew up on the outskirts of Sheffield. The family wealth came from his father’s career in the plastics industry, manufacturing vandal-proof bus shelters. At 18, after leaving Eton and before enrolling at Trinity College in Dublin, he lived in Argentina herding cattle. (source)

I remember seeing that interview. I wanted to SCREAM!
Also, Helena? No, I loved you, sis! (Like, I know about her well-connected background, but damn.)
