Jameela does this a lot. She says something online or does something without doing her homework and a bit of research. She apologizes a lot for making these mistakes, yet the more she keeps doing so, the more her apologies lose meaning. If she keeps at it, she's going to be the next Lena Dunham. She seems to mean well, and I don't think she needs to be cancelled, but she seems too quick to act without doing or saying things with some thought. Doing so would give her more credibility and not hurt her reputation. She backtracks a lot, and it's painful to watch/read.

this feels like bullshit to me. if you are a celebrity known for your activism, and you have a podcast discussing said activism - wouldn't you thoroughly vet your potential guests? research them at all, so you don't go into your debate/discussion totally blind? not even her personally, but does she not have a team behind her to do any of them for her?

or do you know very well what their controversial views are, watch them tweet their controversial views, get dragged by your own fans, and then pretend like you had noooo idea at all so you can carry on pretending to be some Woke Twitter Kween?
