Unpopular opinion apparently but I really think she has a fake sounding voice (I mean there's nothing wrong with her voice per se. She just always sounds like she's "acting"). That's why I didn't care for her Her performance but I do really like her in movies where she doesn't use her voice so much like in Under the Skin and Lost in Translation (maybe she really should play a tree).

I also thought she good in Don Jon even though she was playing a stereotype, probably because she wasn't using her natural voice!

I hear what you're saying. I feel like Madonna's problem was similar in film roles. She can convey human emotion with her face & singing voice, but not with her speaking voice.

The only time I've ever really enjoyed her performance was in Don Jon tbh, just because you could TELL she was having so much fun with the role, which I've never once ever felt from her ever before or ever again (except maybe Winter Soldier).

I wouldn't consider myself a fan of either of them but Chris Evans is waaaaay more talented of an actor than ScarJo. He can be SUPER funny, and he did well in Snowpiercer imo (I haven't seen many of his non-comedy/non-MCU films tbh).
