The first movie had me at Aldis Hodge. Yum.

I saw a really creepy ep of Ghosthunters at the Preston School. I wonder if the film was really shot there, like Session 9 was really at Danvers. If so, I'm down for a bad/good horror movie!

Gawd, I remember the first time I watched it... My roomie and I could NOT sleep. The scariest part was a deleted scene. (spoiler removed)

Love that movie. But I love any creepy old location. <3 Now I watch it to re-visit Danvers- which has been torn down now. The main building/facade was saved I think. It's the front of condos.

Pain and Glory is playing at the Aero on Sunday so I was debating that but it’s in the evening and apparently I’m 80 years old and only want to go to matinees anymore.

I saw "Lara" today in the cinema. I really liked it. I loved the director's debut Oh Boy /A Coffee In Berlin, and kind of expected something similar. But it was less of a tragic comedy and more straight forward arthouse drama about a pretty fucked up female main character. Extremely well-acted, uncomfortable, really well-shot. Oh man, I can't believe there were two German movies this year that I really liked. At some point I'll have to stop saying German cinema is shit.

I might be seeing Cats tomorrow. I don't know.

I saw Star Wars which had a number of baffling writing decisions but I ultimately found it fine. JJ should not be allowed to write endings anymore tho.

I’m going to see both Uncut Gems and Little Women this weekend and I’m super pumped for both.
