It has been reported that FX will bring 'Carrie' back to life in a limited series. Sources say there is no script yet, but the actress to play Carrie will either be trans or an actress of color.

But honestly if King makes bank, ok. I won't watch it, but ok. I like Steve and aside from sick/racist/questionable shit in his fiction-- he seems like a pure dude.

I love the book and first one. The book is hard to read IMO from the format/choppy pieces, but I had to get older to appreciate it, and love it now. I own Carrie 2 and the two remakes, they are watchable and I'm a horror nerd.

The bad movie was decently faithful to the book, and Max Von Sydow (sp?) Was so good.
