Willem Dafoe winning as a supporting actor is bizarre. That movie had two main actors and no one else. He was amazing though.

was not super enthused about seeing 1917, and then i saw a trailer of it before watching knives out. its looks visually stunning and i'm not surprised its getting recognized for its cinematography. definitely more eager to see it now. (that said would love more attention to non-white, non-british soldiers if we're going to continue to churn out war movies)
