The Disney+ original is halfway through its first season on the streaming site that launched on November 12. It has been picked up for a second season that will likely air late 2020

i watched the first two episodes of this cause nostalgia and the main guy annoys me SO much. the format of the show is fun though. i def feel like i'm too old to watch this but it's cute enough

I don’t mind the main guy, but the second male lead I hate. His face is hard to look at and he’s an awful singer. How are we supposed to believe that he’s this amazing performer?

Some of the original songs aren’t bad at all. Which is shocking because I always associate sequels and spinoffs of musicals with having horrible music.

One time when HSM first came out, we saw Corbin Bleu at Disney World. Him and his crew were blocking the exit of our restaurant so they made us schlep around the whole place to leave, which was ridiculous since nobody gives a fuck about Corbin Bleu. So then later in a bathroom we were shit talking him (pretty much with the exact same sentiment), and his mom or sister (can’t remember now) came out of a stall while we were washing our hands and gave us the evil eye. Oop.
