If you're cooking with unsalted butter then odds are you'll be adding seasoning so either way it will become salted butter.

Idk where I come from we use it for baking as well and it works like a charm!
(There's a whole culture war going between the parts of my country that use salted vs unsalted butter and we feel super strongly about it)
