this was cute filler. I knew it was going to end that way bc we can’t have nice things but I’m glad dom is getting some rest.

I just caught up on the entire season and I CANNOT believe that episode 7 reveal. did y’all see that coming this whole time?

I definitely didn't see it coming, but in retrospect it makes a LOT of sense, and the sleuths on Reddit have pointed out even more subtle stuff that I totally missed. With almost any other show I'd say that was cheaply thrown in at the last second for extra ~drama in the final season, but in this case it really does seem like that was the unspoken plan all along, and that makes it SO much more devastating imo.

it does and ia with you, it didn’t feel like a cheap plot device bc i believe sam has meticulously put this together from the start. the dad always seemed controlling over elliot so i’ll have to check out the sleuthing because so much has happened i forget the details. i knew where they were going when things started getting intense and i was like please don’t do this. i keep thinking about how we were introduced to elliot and when he tried to kiss darlene. i’ve always wondered what happened to him and how did his mental state get so bad if it wasn’t innate. i feel even sadder for the character. i’ve always liked mr robot but now i can’t and i know the mr robot elliot created isn’t his abuser but i was not having it when they were having that i should have protected you talk.

omg I was really into Darlene/Dom but I didn't actually think they'd Go There in any significant way??? I lost my mind @ that needle drop. As much as this show isn't about cutesy happy endings, or really any kind of happiness ever, I feel like they've earned it and I want it to end with them together!! Or somewhat together! Or at least both alive!
