I get it, working on a kids movie is not a challenging as doing theatre.

i always wondered if actors in large ensamble casts felt this way. when you're not one of the main roles and it's a huge cast regardless, you get like five minutes of camera time.

Tbh I never quite got why her character in Downton Abbey is considered that iconic. Yes, she has some funny lines and her delivery adds a lot to them being funny, but I e.g. always thought Mrs. Patmore was just as great in that regard and it's just like... Maggy Smith's character doesn't even do that much/gets that much to do? In a weird way it almost feels ageist to me when people praise her, it's like, oh look at that old lady, she's so sassy! And that even though she's old! Amazing!

Her role in HP was very small so I get that but im surprised she says the same thing about her DA role.
