Pretty sure that that playmobil film came and gone here already.

Last film was Love, Rosie and why didn't anyone warn me goddamn that film baffled me with all its dumb decisions.

it's the end of the year and awards season and there is legit no major release this weekend???? how the fuck did that happen (don't even say playmobil to me). and then next week there are like 7 new major releases ugh. i got nothing to see till next thursday previews sigh

amazon as usual dropped the ball with their releases; i would've loved to see something like the aeronauts on a dolby or larger format screen (even if the story was meh). guess i'll wait till it's online in 2 weeks

i finally saw frozen 2 and was bored out of my mind. luckily the theater was completely empty (legit no one around me) so i just spent half the time on my phone. then i saw the mr rogers movie which was lovely. matthew rhys deserves some recognition but alas best actor is already stacked

Right? I thought I even saw it on the list of Dolby movies earlier this year. Amazon has really fucked up the releases of a bunch of their films (Suspiria, Beautiful Boy, Late Night, etc) to the point where I actively hope they don't get movies I am interested in because I know they will botch it.

I saw Knives Out, soooo fun and I haven’t had an audience so reactive (in a good way, not just like shouting at the screen) since Get Out. I also watched Atlantics and I thought it was super lovely. It’s a love/ghost story set in Dakar and it’s on Netflix rn. Definite recommend from me. The way it treats the supernatural was so interestingly matter of fact and I loved the dreamy vibe throughout.

I’m going to try and see Queen and Slim (seems to be v polarizing so I need to see what’s up for myself) later this week but tonight I’m going to stay home and watch The Irishman.

Saw Queen & Slim on Tues, after some convincing. Should've gone with my first instinct not to (because depression), although the sadness/anger faded into "meh" real quick. It didn't tell me anything I didn't already know about being black, and I didn't need it.

IDK, man. I need more Eve's Bayous.

The Report is really upsetting and infuriating, but well acted and well written.
