I finally got around to buying a stainless steel water bottle a few months ago and haven't bought a single use water bottle since. I brought it with me to Italy and was so jealous of all their old public drinking fountains, re-filling was never an issue. Public water fountains everywhere should make a comeback.

Idk if it was only around here, but I remember adults being so weird about public fountains when I was young, saying the water was unclean and could make you sick, etc. But I agree with you, they should make a comeback

Seriously! I have several reusable bottles but my job doesn't have any fountains cuz they want you to buy their (single use) water bottles. 🙄
